The Al-Azhar Institute of Cape Town (AICT) is a subsidiary educational institution of the Muslim Judicial Council (MJC). The AICT was established in November 1994. The institute opened for business on January 1, 1995, starting with an initial enrollment of 48 students. Currently the institute is operating a primary school and a high school. We would like to grow into one campus, eventually, but growth is pla nned conservatively.
